I have been with Madison Pain Clinic for 3 years. I have 65% nerve damage in both legs, lower back pain, Neuopathy, arthritis in my spine. Madison gave me life again, I am able to play with my 14 grand children and keep working my business. If I am unable to work, I would have to go on disability. My family MD is afraid o perscribe any more than 2 tabs per day. So I suffer.

I have used the Madison Pain Clinic since 2003 to manage my chronic pain issues safely. I was just about ready to fly down to Dallas for a check-up when they were closed because of the DEA. I called the DEA several times out my own outrage and I was directed to speak with the Prosecuting Attorney, of whom I spent some hours speaking with. Of course he could not give me information about the case, however I perceived that certain patients perhaps were abusing the clinic, maybe even selling their medications and the victims were The Madison Pain Clinic and of Course, those of us whom suffer daily in chronic pain! Still, I feel strongly that it is time that people that live in chronic pain need not be the victims of a Society where alcohol and tobacco are easily available and do so much damage to the body...not to mention the long term effects of Tylenol and Ibuprofen! I am outraged with this culture of consumption! I would like all chronic pain patients of Madison Pain Clinic to get together and have a CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT AGAINST THE DEA AND ANYONE THAT ALSO ABUSED THE CLINIC FOR ILLEGAL REASONS! If you are interested in helping me create this fight...leave a message on this post and I will put together a website with a petition! Read Thomas Szadz's 'Our Right To Drugs!' and 'Ceremonial Chemistry' and you will understand everything in a Historical/Cultural Context!

I am hoping to become a patient. I have constant chronic pain beginning with migraines and added to this three other serious accidents all to the same place on the right side of my head. I went to doctors, 6 specialists, psychiatrists, alternative medicine, etc., over the past 36 years. Then I had surgery on my occipital bone to deaded the pain. Not only do I have the same head pain as before, now my occipital bone hurts constantly and I can't lay on my back or right side of my head. I have heard from other patients that they believe you DON'T HAVE TO LIVE WITH PAIN AND JUST GET USED TO IT. I don't believe we were meant to live in pain. If they can't fix the problem by a procedure, then you allow the person to be as comfortable as possible. I have probably lost half of my life being in a dark, quiet room with ice on my head, throwing up, and taking so many pills that did nothing but make it worse and take my money. RELIEVE PAIN AND SUFFERING. Separation of Medicine and State should be more important than Church and State.

they were the most proffessional and detail oriented careful and caring pain management centers in the USA VERY TRUE - all by the book --- face to face -- blood testing and so much more -- even phsychology tests -- but not enough for the tough guys since they did some mail order i assume -- the dea decided to make an example of them and close down arrest and whatever the crooks /dea do best ! its too bad for true pain chronic pain patients as well as the amazing doctor and specialists that lost thur job and such its a shame -- why would the dea do anything like this -- ? it is so sad and shows how they care more about easy arrests than the crack - illicit drugs and worse around the corner on every block -- they turn the heads when they see that !
